I recently completed my ophthalmology training at the Ohio State University, in Columbus, OH. Then sought out additional sub-specialty training in peri-ocular plastic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic with Dr Julian Perry, and at the Shanghai 9th People’s Hospital, Department of Facial Plastic Surgery, with Dr Qingfeng Li. I have a specific interest in the medically and aesthetically significant differences between Asian and non-Asian peri-ocular structures.
Dear Dr. Chen,
I’m Chinese and was looking into plastic surgery. There were many things in your article on Aethestics that really inspired deeper thinking. I have always been unsure of the, not exactly the morality, but the advantages of having plastic surgery, and was wondering about your opinion on plastic surgery. Although I do think that I have been sufficiently endowed with pleasant looks, if I really wanted to become more beautiful, is plastic surgery the way to go? I mean, if advancing my attractiveness was my only goal. Any input/thoughts would be very much appreciated! Thank you so much for your time and consideration!
Very Sincerely,
Ella
